  This gem was mined and cut in Tanzania. Out of many I bought in that parcel this one would not benefit from a re-cut. The bigger gem in the medium rich tone does not perform well with a brilliant pavilion. So I left it alone. It looks like a more red Rhodolite garnet; good size and will fit a 10 x 8 standard mount. No treatments.
