  This gem was cut in Sri Lanka in 2001 from Dana's rough. The material came from the Moro Redondo mine. It is a dark green but not black. They cut these tourmalines in an old style to keep this type of material from going black. This gem has had no treatment. Dana bought this facet rough from Marc Licinni back in the late 1990's.
