  This gem was cut by my friend in Tanzania and I have the rough also and it looks identical but some of the rough I have has some gas bubbles in it that would have fractured even at low heat to change helidore to aquamarine so I would say he is correct as it being unheated. I have always trusted him and everything I have sent to the labs like AGL and GIA on sapphires, etc. have all come back unheated as he stated they were. He is a honest seller and I am proud to have him as my contact in Tanzania. This is a very lovely gem and was cut by one of his best cutters. The angles are correct; very fine polish and just a lovely sea foam blue-green color. Aquamarine is getting harder to come by in untreated , clean, and nice gems. This one is a classic cut and color; extremely clean.
