  This is what I have found out about this design. This is a Iron tsua with surface yellow Sentoku treatment. Mokko shape thickness is 4 mm with flat rim. The surface is Ishime-ji with flower stamps, nunome surface? iroe nunome and takazogan. Say that 3 times really fast ... style and school characteristics of Tembo also checkerboard, flowers and leaves in various metals and lacquers. This is an unsigned or mumei piece. All lacquer is in place and this is a very fine tsuba. nakago-ana opening.9 cm wide by 2.8 cm tall.
