  This gem was mined and cut in Sri Lanka. The more I looked at this lovely gem the more I liked it. Also when examining in detail like I do I noticed something odd at the girdle; it has a very tiny discoid from heating but that was not it. It has this tiny micro chip in the girdle; not above or below the girdle but in the girdle. Everyone that knows me I tell all I know about a gem. I will call the owner and tell him what I have found and ask if he wants me to remove it as it is so very tiny but I have to tell all I see in a gem of mine or someone else's.. In any case I surely think this gem is worth the time as it really jumps out at you in light return and color. Basic heat only CG8231
