  This gem was cut by me from a very odd shaped piece of rough bought in 2003 and it weighed 7.22 carats. This is one of those pieces of rough that the shape did not dictate any type of normal shape so I had to wing it ! The rough these days in larger pieces is very hard to come by and I did not want to waste any of it. It is a very clean gem with no window and sadly when I took the hand shots that day; my hands were warm the gems are cool; therefore the moisture created a haze on that particular shot. I kept having to wipe my hands but to no avail... No treatment on this gem and the color is very nice with that green undertone.
