  This gem was cut by me from a 6.88 carat piece of rough I got in 2000. This is a very lovely gem with good light return and a very nice color. It is a close to calibrated size to make it easy to find a mount; it will easily fit a 8x6 oval mount. No treatment in any way. It had a black carbon type inclusion on one end and I chose to cut it away to have a smaller but clean gem. No treatment in any way and a good hard mineral that can hold up to everyday wear in a ring.
