  This gem was cut and heated by me from a 6.13 carat odd shaped piece of rough bought in 2000. This gem was rootbeer brown to start with, clean but oddly shaped and the only cut I could do without excessive weight loss was the Marquise. It faces up very lovely and the purple blue is intense and if you rotate it just so you can even see a flash of green as it is trichroic. Heat to 900 degree F for one hours then the slow cool down all of course done after cutting. Nice gem...
