  I bought this gem from my contact in Sri Lanka in 2020. It was 3.01 carat but had a black carbon spot right in the culet. I normally do not ever cut a culet off center but the rest of the gem was lovely so I opted to off center the culet and give it a smaller table and in real life it is a very brilliant and lovely periwinkle/blue gem... It will make an awesome ring or pendant gem. It turned out better than I was hoping for and I am able to sell it for a fraction of the cost from other cutters. Plus I was able to keep it in a calibrated size for a 9 x 7 mount.. win, win...
