  This gem I bought in 1998 in a huge parcel of cut spinels from Burma. I was going to re-cut it but it looked so good just like it is. The color saturation seems to hide the widow effect like on most gems from being so shallow; but sometimes us cutter have to realize we can not maker it better than it is. It is a large face up gem and the color and clarity are very lovely indeed; so I am being a good cutter and leaving this one along. No treatments and fully tested like all my gems.
