  This gem was re-cut by me from a badly windowed 2.31 carat gem bought in 1998. It is a very lovely red and not black red. It has a good shape and size and clarity. I had to do some crazy cutting on the pavilion to remove the window without destroying the shape and size. It faces up very nice and will surely make an awesome ring or pendant. No treatments.
