  This gem was cut by me from a 8.55 carat flawless crystal bought from Hilmar Bosch in 1998. It is a graduated green going from an almost colorless mint green to a more vivid mint green which is seen more dramatically from the pavilion side. It is bright and glowing and CLEAN !!! Good size and I made up the cut to give it more light return and not just the classic emerald cut I do on most of these tourmaline to save that precious weight. The prices of good clean tourmaline rough is unreal these days and I have seen rough like this one go for as much as I am asking for the cut gem. Yea I know it is crazy just like the price of eggs ??? In any case this gem has had no treatments in any way and it will be stunning in a ring or pendant...
