  This gem was cut by me from a 8.33 carat piece of rough bought 2016. No treatments. After the dried up neon orange Namibia spessartite mine most of us cutter was on the quest for more of that vivid orange garnet rough. Loliondo was about the only source for neon orange garnets but this mine most always had some inclusions in them and they called them sugar crystal inclusions. This gem has the very vivid orange but it does have those classic inclusions for this location. Still a very intense gem and it would make a stunning ring or pendant.
