  Notes:

  This gem was re-cut by me from a "matched" pair of basic heat only Sri Lanka sapphires I bought in 2004. The color was close but the cuts were polar opposites and they would not match up as represented. But back then I just saw what I could do with them and bought them anyway; too much trouble to send back to Sri Lanka. This was a 1.56 carat step cut windowed gem. I removed the window and with the zoning and different cut to the pavilion it really turned out to be a lovely bright gem. Basic heat only. It will make a very lovely ring or pendant.
