  Notes:

  This gem was cut by me from a 7.31 carat Tanzanian alluvial piece of rough bought in 2012. I have cut several gems similar to this one from that location; they have this glowing silk under 60x microscope but they are still very brilliant and have that secondary glow to them. 1.75 RI I did a full modified brilliant and put a higher crown than normal to help with the dispersion; it works and this is just a very lovely gem. No treatments. I tried to get it's most unlovely side in the hand shot but it looks like that only rarely when there is no decent lighting; but as soon as light hits it; well it is very lovely and brilliant... Truly a unique gem and good hardness for a ring gem. Aside from the silk it is very clean.
