  This gem was cut by me from a 4.23 carat piece of rough bought in 2007. This was from my contact in Tanzania I have dealt with for many , many years, same gentleman I got all the unheated sapphires from that I have been re-cutting for years. It was very shallow rough and it does have a window; but when given some lemons make the best lemonade you can.. The window is very small and may close up in a setting; but it is a natural untreated gem at what I consider a very good price for the material; it will make a lovely ring or pendant. Once again my photos have a D on them and Rachelle's does not; this is for her to see how I have photographed for over 15 years and I want her to be better than I was or am; there is a true learning curve as this is not as easy as many may think.
