  This gem was cut by me from a 5.3 carat piece of alluvial rough bought in 2019. It is a fireball and pictures can never do this gem justice.. It is an unusual orange with pinkish plum flashes of color in some lighting conditions. It is eye clean but under the 20x I can find some very very tiny little wisps but nothing to see with the naked eye; but i tell everything i know. It will make an awesome ring or pendant. Just a very intense brilliant lively untreated gem garnet... RI is 1.742
