  This gem was cut by me and was the first Rubelite tourmaline rough I ever bought. It was 5.87 carats and I bought it in 1997 from a Brazilian mineral specimen dealer and the label on the specimen said Aracuai, Brazil.. It was shallow but I was not going to waste any of this gem as it is Red and lovely and clean for that type of this mineral.
