  I bought a very large parcel of Brazilian tourmaline to re-cut in the early 1990's as the price of rough was going up and I could by cut gems at the same price as rough. These were very lovely gems just like they are so they never got re-cut. The colors are very lovely and border on the glowing neon colors. No treatments in any way and you can use them for nice jewelry just like they are; or if you cut you can adjust the pavilion area and get very nice gems for much less than the rough prices.
