  This gem was re-cut by me from a very badly windowed 1.42 carat gem bought in 1998. I was about to think it was going to be a sub-carat gem as the window was very wide. It was not only the pavilion area but the perimeter as well as the window was bad but the color was very good and I could not see wasting this lovely gem. These colors seem to be very rare these days unless you want to spend many hundreds per carat. This gem has been fully tested and is completely natural with no treatments. This will make a very fine ring or pendant. RI 1.71 and neon red under SW light.
