  I bought this gem in 1999 and it was 2.47 carat with a window. I was buying Burma material then and wanted to see how the Sri Lanka spinel compared.. It doesn't... Do not get me wrong; some I have seen are nice but nothing like the Burma material; even when they are at their best.. Well I am biased on spinels after some of the Burma material I have cut and seen. In any case this is a clean gem but if you love saturated colors; this may be for you... Sadly the prices of this material is also going up... No treatment in any way.
