  This gem was cut by me from a 1/4 kilo of facet rough I got from Hilmar Bosch in 1997. As you can see many times the parcels are not all clean as with this gem. So I decided to cab it due to the color saturation and inclusions. In a cab the inclusions are cool and play with light in a good way; when faceted in large pieces they will go dark and normally the inclusions end up in a place that makes the gem look kind of crappy. So when this is my choices I cab and I am thankful I can as in this case it makes a very lovely gem with nice rich purple color and red flashes ... No treatment at all in this gem.
