  This opal was cut by me and has been in the vault for 15+ years and there is no crazing at all. It has one tiny flea bite nick on the back edge but it will have no bearing on the gem and or mounting or wearing; shown and noted in one picture. The super sale price is the cost of the rough from the early 1990's and it has not gotten any cheaper as I still get their sale sheets. Nice old stock from a location that does not produce much any longer.
