  This gem was cut by me from a 6.9 carat piece of rough bought in 2012. It is the dark base material with vivid fire of most all colors of the spectrum. It will make a stunning piece of jewelry. No sugaring, smoking, etc. just natural crystal opal.. Great gem... There is just no way to capture all the fire and color play in this gem with a picture...
