  This gem was cut by me from a 6.63 carat piece of rough bought in 2012. That was an expensive but lovely parcel of rough as most all of the gems are above average in clarity and color patterns. No treatments.. This grey base and semi high dome really adds a lot of action to the rolling orbs of fire in this gem.. close to calibrated for easy mounting 11 x9 mount... this is one exceptional Ethiopian opal.. Photos cannot come close to the fire in this gem...
