  This gem was cut by me from a 8.17 carat piece of rough I got from my Tanzanian contact in 2009. It is a very lovely gem but could have used a heating to clear our some of the rutile/silk fibers. In any case it is still a very lovely gem with lots of rainbow flashes of dispersion coming off the crown and from within. It is a made-up brilliant design that looks pretty nice. It will make a lovely ring or pendant; price to move and make someone very happy. It will fit a standard 10 x 8 mm mount.
