  This gem was cut by me from a 8.1 carat crystal bought in a large parcel of crystal in 1998 from Marc Liccini. Some of the crystals are for sale in lots on the website and facet or cab or specimen rough. Untreated material. As you can see most of the crystals formed in long slender crystals and limits your cutting to more of the European styles which were more long and slender. Nice gem for a ring or pendant. This is what was always called precious topaz as the imperial topaz from the same location had to have pink tones in the crystal; some of the crystals do have the pink in them and of course me as a cutter cut most of those first as they are just so lovely and unique; but the labs do not give them the old names any longer.
