  This gem was cut by me from a 10.77 carat piece of rough bought in 2001. This gem has been Irradiated then heated to this electric blue. There was a batch of silver topaz from Nigeria that took on this intense color after irradiation and heating. The color is very stable and is a shocking blue. This will make a very lovely ring or pendant.
