  This gem was cut by me from a 17.97 carat crystal tip bought in 1997. I waited for almost 2 years for this shipment of Danburite crystals from Mexico. I thought it would never come to fruition and I thought my money was gone forever; until one day I came home from work and found a 50 pound box of terminated crystals and a note to pick out my 2 pounds of crystals and send the rest to a mineral dealer in Texas...Some of the crystals were a pastel pink and some were water clear like this one. No treatments and this gem will make a very lovely ring gem. Hardness of 7 to 7+ so it can make a nice ring worn with moderate care..
