  This gem was cut by me from a 4.88 carat piece of rough crystal bought in 2016. I wish the crystal shape would have worked with me so the face up color would be the vivid pink you see from the side photo. But it would have meant a sub carat gem with the tiny veil across the table and that would not have worked. In any case it is a very brilliant gem and unusual for a natural Tanzanite. RI is 1.69 colorless to mint green on the table culet axis and vivid pink on the girdle xis.. No treatments.
