  My friend Terry Ledford mined this from the Grassy Creek Mine in Spruce Pine, NC back in the early 1990's, I bought it from him in 2002. I bought it for the clean sections in the large specimen, Terry loved his specimens and would not sell the nice ones to me if the crystals were terminated and in tact. This one got damaged when removing so he sold it to me for rough back then. Terry passed from a mine collapse many years ago and was one heck of a guy and miner ... This piece has some clean sections but you will have to take your time as I did to remove the clean sections or you can keep it as a specimen as that mine is no longer to be mined... No treatments.
