  This was one of the largest in that 5 pound parcel I bought in 1999. Like I had said I waited 2 years for this material back then. This is clean and huge... When you cut them even in a semi-brilliant design it concentrates the color to see more of the pink hue. I can see a 40+ carat clean gem from this piece and at least 2 gems in the 5 carat range. Getting this material this size and clean is virtually impossible these days as I think at the time I had some of the largest cut pieces there was, they are all sold now with new homes and of course I kept some for myself to cut as what I am offered in nothing as nice as what I have and at a price I will not pay. Yes I left plenty of meat on the bone for the cutter as I am a cutter also and know we all have to make profit from our labors.
