  I bought this material in 2001. As stated many times when I collect I collect, everything known to man to facet.. This was unique material basically cosmic quartz. I will not go into detail of how they are formed etc. as you can google that; but when I collected I tried to get the best I could afford at the time. I was amazed and intrigued with the formation of this material. I have cut many from that old parcel and all sold quickly due to its origin and formation. They cut a very lovely olice gem gem and this material is clean. I searched through plastic dish tub for hours with my handy light finding the best the dealer had. I was looking this material up recently and about fell in the floor at the prices of material that was not even in the ballpark of this material, needless to say my price is about a 1/4 of what they are asking for worse quality, some can be facet and there is one that would be lovely mounted in a pendant just like it is, buyers choice as to what to do with them....
