  This was in a parcel of facet rough I got from the miner in Canada in the late 1990's. The only way back then to get in touch with the miners was lapidary Journal. I laugh sometimes of all the calls and letters I wrote back then before emails and websites. It truly was a labor of love and so interesting back then as it was like a treasure hunt to find names, mines, locations of rough. This is a very lovely crystal cluster of a lovely gem garnet that never was abundant in facet grade material. No treatments.
