  This gem was cut by me from a 8.9 carat piece of rough I got in 2010 from Tanzania. In the rough it was clean but it did have a glow; but when cut and the light was able to move inside the gem it had this eerie glow of orange like a burning ember. It is untreated in any way and will make a very lovely ring or pendant !!! 1.75 RI and will fit a 10 x 8 standard mount...
