  This gem was a complete re-cut by me from a 6.21 carat lifeless windowed gem I bought from my friend in Sri Lanka in 2020. No treatments. It has a RI of 1.735 and it is very brilliant and very lovely. I have a love for champagne colored gems, I know I love champagne so it must be something in my physicy ??? In any case this will make a very fine ring or pendant gem and not a common color at all in garnets. They call it Imperial over there ??? Sounds and look nice to me.. It is a very nice size almost 5 carats and very clean for this mineral type.. It does show UV reactive properties under LW uv light it goes to a red orange color... But I would not call it a dragon garnet , just a fine garnet with good uv reactivity. still stunning.
