  This gem was cut by me from a 7.86 carat piece of rough bought in 2002. This material is red and saturated and I have found anything over 2 carats needs an emerald cut to show it's color. This gem is saturated but in decent light is a very lovely red. No treatments. I am not saying black by any means just a rich luxurious red...
