  This gem was re-cut by me; a total re-cut due to it being bag worn with nicks and rubs and lifeless step cut pavilion. I bought 2 gems from my friend in Sri Lanka in 2016. They were in the same bag, same location, same RI, almost the same color. No treatments. This blend of family of garnet is not all that common and to be this size and clarity is truly uncommon. This gem has good brilliance and is not overly saturated. It is a color shift going from a golden orange to a pink orange depending on the lighting. Nice uncommon gem that will make an awesome ring or pendant.
