  this gem was cut by me from a 6.83 carat crystal section. Of course the rough looked more saturated before cutting which is the case with the beryl family. It is very water clean and brilliant but it is pastel in color; but makes up for it in brilliance. I buy very little aquamarine these days as i have a lot of Vietnamese material although quite intense blue it has the tendency of reflective clear type inclusions which many do not like. But in any case this is a very clean well cut gem that will make a very flashy ring or pendant. it should fit a 10x8 mount with not much side reveal.
