  This gem was cut by me from a 28.3 carat crystal tip bought in 2001. It is an extremely lovely gem with excellent purple color and high luster ... I love a high dome cabochon as it allows light through the side of the gem and to me it just glows more.. It will make a statement ring or a lovely pendant. I like cabs as they are so easy to make bezels for, no prongs to break or hang and it is cheaper to make and so much more secure; especially if you like to put your hands in your pocket. lol No treatments in any way.
