  This gem was cut by me from a 26.6 carat piece of rough I got in a 1/4 kilo of material from Hilmar Bosch back in 1998. The material is very intense and lovely.. I learned the hard way on this material, it cuts awesome cabochons and emerald cuts but when you put a brilliant cut on it; the material goes too dark for my taste... But in emerald cuts or cabochon cuts this material is lovely.. No treatments; this will make an awesome statement ring without a lot of cost, put it in a non tarnishing white metal with a simple bezel and you will get a lifetime of enjoyment out of its beauty...
