  This gem was in a parcel of cut sapphires I got from my rough dealer in Tanzania. I tried to help them as much as I could buying their somewhat rustic cut gems. But they are getting better; much like us cutters; some have a little more pride in their work than others??? But in any case this is a neat gem for the money. It is not dead and the color is unique and pleasing. If you like steely grey gems this one is for you.
