  Back in the day late 1990's they found a particular sapphire from Songea Tanzania could be heated with chrysoberyl in the heating chamber caused these sapphires to go to these wild neon colors. I had a lot of the material as I had to buy lots of rough back then and I had all these tiny clean stones and I surely was not going to cut them. So I got with a heat treatment individual and we talked and I sent him the rough and he heated them. Some came out neon orange, some yellow, and some red.. So in 2004 I sent the parcel to Sri Lanka and had them all diamond cut round brilliants for the trade jewelers. This is just some I had stuck back for myself to use but have not gotten around to it because I am too busy cutting, farming, etc. These are super intense RED and bright and will make stunning jewelry..
