Notes:
I bought this gem back in 1998 from Burma along with spinels and rubies. I did not buy but a few of these gem blue sapphires as to me and my personal preference it was too saturated... and when I started buying on a large scale I was not in the business yet and bought what I liked and not what the market demand was... Heck my Dad and I still owned our own corporation back then and it had nothing to do with gems as it was an industrial maintenance company dealing with setting and repairing huge industrial equipment... less I digress... Basic heat only... I sold most of them to the trade because back then most jewelers sold what they called " midnight Blue" sapphires ??? But in any case when I was going through all this ruby melee material I came across this gem. I put it through all the tests and it is natural and it is clean and rich blue. I am saying basic heat only if anything as they did not glass fill or diffuse gems when this was bought by me from Burma.

Burma

8 x 6 x 3.6 mm deep 8x6 oval mount
