  These gems were cut and heated from my rough I bought in 2000 and sent to Sri Lanka in 2001 to be cut into cabochons; they told me this material responded well to heating so I let them. I lost several in the heating process but it did make the ones that survived look better. No Glass just heat... They will make lovely earrings or a ring and pendant or 2 rings. They are nice gems and a lovely rich red. I have one gem I will put on in this sell that was not heated from the same lot that they cut and the heat did make a positive difference.
