  Well this is the other gem sapphire that was supposed to be a match to the 1.32 carat one. This one is a little larger and was the main reason they would not be a true match even after re-cutting the pavilions to get rid of the window and lifeless step cut pavilion; I think they matched more before I re-cut them. lol But they both are much prettier now than then as before they were just lifeless; now they have light return and the color is more concentrated. This is a very lovely baby blue gem with excellent light return. I put a more brilliant design on the pavilion of this gem as it was deeper to start with. This will make a truly lovely ring or pendant. I would use an 8x6 prong mount on this gem and I do not think the reveal would ever be noticed. Stunning gem blue sapphire. Basic heat only.
