Notes:
This is a lovely blue gem sapphire cabochon. GIA said star and it will star but the legs are not very defined; it almost is more cats eye to me but hey let the lab say what they will as they are the "experts" ... No matter the case it is a very lovely untreated gem sapphire. I removed a larger carbon spot off the crown but left the base as it was cut originally. This is old 1948 stock bought from a closed old Jewelry store. It will make a very lovely ring and the color is very lovely and to me has a lavender purple secondary hue. The size is large, the color very nice and the clarity allows it to glow. I took one from the lot and made myself and Rachelle a lovely ring; awesome old stock. There are others on the site from this same lot I did not send to the lab; they all are nice just some more blue than others ...
