  This gem was bought by me from an old stock parcel. The old Jewelry store was in New Jersey and the stock was 1948 material. I reshaped this gem from a 12.3 carat gem with a completely egg shaped round base. Many have asked why did I not send many off to be heated and then facet ? I just like the old stock; but it could be done as the inclusions are silk or rutile based. It is a star per GIA and you can see it in certain lighting; but it is not a vivid strong star; but the color , size, clarity, and shape are really a statement piece. But for the money; well you have seen the prices out there... Note; the others listed for sale are from the same lot; I just sent 4 to GIA to prove they are what I say they are..
