  This is another from the old stock collection. This is a large gem with a very high dome. This is a very large nice gem with strong legs and almost a double star. It has some tiny specks on one side of the gem that I tried to get all of them out but left it as is as they are not as noticeable as they were when I got them. I was allowed to buy 9 of these gems and had to touch up cut and polish all of them as the gem papers had 1948 on them. Many had a true egg shape which is hard to set so I re-cut them to make them more suitable for setting. All the others are at GIA for their blessing but I have no doubt these are all untreated... Back then they did not treat like today and they never treated the silvers, greys, etc. Nice chance to get old stock large material. If my friend allows me to I will buy more... The star on this gem is much more detailed and vivid than my camera could pick up plus the sun was in and out this morning making it extremely hard to capture the star. The last photo was with a dead flashlight.. Nothing was working for me this morning..
