  These gems were cut from my rough in Sri Lanka in 2001. I had no record of this rough being heated but I will say basic heat only to be safe.. I sent over 3000 carats of rough to Sri Lanka in 2001 to be cut as I had bought heavy to get the deals from the mine brokers and those pieces that were not the larger ones I sent and had cut. I have sold many hundreds to the jewelry trade and made many pieces of jewelry from this type material. The face up very well and will great stacker rings or ear rings.
